Long and loosely holding together with an emulsion or powder soluble with resin binder. Specifically in orthophthalic and isophthalic, polyester, vinylester, epoxy. Flame retardant and corrosion resistant resins.
C-Glass, E-Glass are both used commonly,depending on the application of the pipe.
Application
Chopped strand mate is typically used with the surfacing veil to form the corrosion layer.
For Frp pipe liner layer making ,as the 2nd layer of FRP Pipe and tank.
Or repaire the GRP pipes or tank's leakage area.
Chopped stand mat helps producing a laminate with resin with good strength and excellent chemical resistance.
